We sell daily living aids across Australia. This page is the short version of what we have learned selling them: how to choose, what to measure, and what we will and will not tell you.
Start with the task, not the product
Most people arrive here after something specific became difficult: getting out of a low chair, standing long enough to shower, kneeling in the garden, holding a glass. The categories on this page are organised that way on purpose, by the room and the job rather than by product type.
Measure before you buy
Almost everything that gets returned would have been avoided by a tape measure. For a shower chair, measure the width of the cubicle and the space between the taps. For a raised toilet seat, measure the pan. For a bath rail, measure the thickness of the bath wall. Every product page lists the figures the supplier publishes, and where a figure is not published we say so rather than guess.

If you are choosing between two products, or you are not sure a size will fit, email us first. We would rather answer a question than process a return, and the answer usually comes back the same working day.
